« Since childhood, I have sought to give form to the invisible.
My work is born from emotions, memories, questions, and everything that sometimes remains buried within us. It explores light and darkness, wounds, secrets, but also the inner strength we all carry, often without even realizing it.
Symbols come to me instinctively. Butterflies, wings, masks, crowns, and spirals have become a language of their own. Nothing is placed by chance; each element reveals what words sometimes fail to express.
Through my work, I tell stories, but above all, I leave space for emotion, mystery, and intuition. My art is raw. It does not seek to soften or conceal reality. It embraces both light and darkness, because they are inseparable parts of our human experience.
I deeply believe in the alchemy of the human spirit: our ability to transmute life’s trials, not to become someone else, but to reveal the strength that has always existed within us. »
S T O R Y
From an early age, Lolo felt an instinctive need to create.
Whenever she couldn’t find what she imagined, she built it herself. A wooden plank became a boat, a few simple tools were enough to create an entire world. From childhood, she developed a natural desire to give form to what did not yet exist.
Curious and deeply fascinated by the world around her, she spent hours observing nature, colours, animals, and the countless details that often go unnoticed. As a child, she spoke to nature as if it were a close friend, sharing her secrets and listening to the stories every tree, every animal, and every flower had to tell.
This sensitivity has always been part of who she is. Life, however, led her down a different path. She built a career in sales and hospitality, driven by her love of human connection, languages, and cultural exchange.
Years later, burnout became a turning point. Words were no longer enough to express what she was going through. Almost instinctively, she picked up a paintbrush. Intuitive painting became a language, and eventually, a path toward transformation.
She later joined the School of Fine Arts, continuing to expand her artistic practice through constant exploration. Deeply self-taught by nature, she is driven by curiosity, embracing new techniques and materials, allowing each discovery to enrich her creative universe.
Today, Laurence transforms her own story into a source of creation. Through a deeply symbolic visual language, she invites viewers into works where shadow and light coexist, emotions take shape, and silence becomes visible.
Art did not change her life. It allowed her to rediscover who she had always been.
